Saturday, my friend JJ went and got her tattoo in honor of her son Brendon. I wanted to share with you how awesome of a tattoo this is. She got this on her right foot to signify Brendon’s Right Hemiparesis as a result of his stroke. I told her that getting this on her foot can signify that every step she takes, she takes for Brendon. JJ has done an amazing job raising awareness for childhood stroke. Brendon is the sweetest, smartest, cutest little boy ever and he was so blessed to receive JJ as his Mom. I am so proud of her. She has been fighting an uphill battle with physicians and therapists since Brendon's diagnosis but through perserverance, she has truly shown that a mother is a child's best advocate. So amazing, so strong, so fearless - my dear friend.
